Pilots take note: The Aviator Room is filled with memorabilia from our flying uncles who fought in World War II. Park your plane at Big Bear Airport and walk over to this great Fireplace Double Room, unit #8. It is a large combination bedroom/family room and a bathroom with new tile shower. There is an Oak Gas Fireplace (NO WOOD) in front of the Queen-size bed, a love seat, and a 25" TV above the fireplace. You can sleep 2 adults comfortably (not more). There is air conditioning, a mini fridge, microwave and coffeemaker. Read about Uncle Herb who flew a C-47 over the Hump in Burma to China, and Uncle Leroy who piloted a B-17 Flying Fortress over Europe, was shot down and survived a German POW camp.
