For everyone's safety on the property, the registered guest must pass Stripe ID and credit card verification through Cloudbeds Software (credit card will not be charged). Big Bear mountain is at 7,500 feet elevation so you might lose cell phone reception on the road. NO front desk.You MUST complete the registration as soon as possible before your arrival date. You will then receive further check-in info.

Limited In Person Check-In Procedure
IF you do not want to do the standard, online check-in procedure, you may follow our in person check-in procedure - however an ADDITIONAL FEE required, and there are strict guidelines for this and in person check-in is NOT available after 9pm. No exceptions. You WILL NOT BE ABLE TO GET INTO YOUR UNIT if you arrive after 9pm.
Checking into your unit in person may be difficult here in the high/snowy mountain area due to severe road and weather conditions – especially at night. For everyone’s safety in this remote, rural area, the check-in process must be recorded by security cameras. The place to check in will be at the Sleepy Forest Office at 404 S Eureka Drive, Big Bear Lake, CA 92315.
Check-in times are only available during a 2 hour window and are split into two, 1 hour sections of time from 5pm-6pm and from 8pm-9pm. If you arrive between 5pm-6pm, an additional non-refundable amount of $50 will be charged and, if you arrive between 8pm-9pm, you will be charged an additional non-refundable amount of $100.
Additionally, a $200 refundable deposit against the guest’s credit card will be charged for ID verification purposes. If there is a disturbance, or any situations that would need to involve law enforcement, your Guest ID and video footage will be shared with the local police department but will NOT be shared with the Immigration Department.
